Artist:  Frederico Castellon (Spanish 1914-1971) Title: The Groom Date/period:   1946 Item Description: Original lithograph signed in pencil by the artist, “Castellon” in the lower right margin.  Depiction of two Asian men, a groom and his servant.  The man is wearing a fedora and mandarin-style shirt with frog closures.  There are paper flowers decorating the edge of the sedan chair the groom is riding in.  Published by the Associated American Artists New York.  Includes original AAA information tag. Size: (sheet) 16.5”x 12.5” (Image) 10” x 13” Condition: Excellent condition with strong impression.  Bright clean paper.  Very light foxing around the margin.  Minimal signs of age and wear.
