Ordering Code: LCD The Atlas Copco LCD core drills are ideal for safe drilling in reinforced concrete, masonry, natural stone and asphalt up to a diameter of 200mm. The Atlas Copco LCD500 and LCD1500 core drills are used by construction professionals in a wide range of applications including building renovation and utility works. They are relied on to install drainage, sewer and water pipes plus cable and ventilation ducts where large and deep holes are needed. Core sampling in concrete and asphalt roads is another perfect application for this high performing drill. They also have the advantage of being able to be used underwater and in hazardous areas where sparks are an issue. The LCD range had a 1/2″ BSP thread to match a standard 1/2″ BSP core bit fitting and there is an adaptor included to convert this to a 1-1/4″ thread for larger core bits with that size thread.
